Max's Birthday!!

Max turned 4 today! We took him to Brick Oven to get his special birthday lunch. He's been looking forward to his lollipop sundae for weeks -- so I thought he'd be a bit more giddy when they finally brought it to him. The nerves must've kicked in -- check out his finger positioning and that face that wouldn't crack...

last couple weeks

So Adrie and just 3 of her kids came to visit the other week -- our main excitement was a 5+ hour trip to IKEA (with only the baby, thanks to Ry) to get some things to organize our lives, but mostly our homes. It might as well have been a get-away, and with Adrie having a new babe and Mom getting ready for her mission, it may be all that happens for our sister vacation (which should be recurring any week now) Any objections sisters? (please, object.)I love reading time. Especially when it actually happens with ease.
The kids have yet to play in some "real" snow, but I let them go pretend a while last week before it could melt all the way...
Even though toys are forbidden on the piano, I caught sight of this parking garage, by Tru.
and Uncle Nick still comes to visit. . . especially when Hickory Kist is having a deal. Laura also came this weekend for a bit but I didn't take a picture of us doubling to the UVU game and Kalai concert and Yogurtland afterward. It was quite the fun night.

What a week it's been for Max! First Mom and then Dad gets to come to preschool?!He looooved it. He didn't get to sleep until after 9:00 last night because he was so anxious in his bed for today. He got to show his dad for show and tell and race the dads singing "skidamarink"

Moms and Muffins

Max was so thrilled to have me come to his preschool to show me around and...have me read a story to him and sing songs etc. It made his whole week!

Just wondering...

Just now max said, "how old will I be when (cousin) Ian is 3?" I told him-- 7.
"well how old will Avery be when I'm 66?" "68." then he walked off. Sometimes I wonder.
