at any point in the day -- if i start singing "the carrot seed" songs -- avery will go through her huge pile of books until she finds it. this time she woke ryan up from a nap to have him read it to her. she just snuggles right in.
avery must've been trying to tell me she was hungry. i was in the living room and the bread was still cooling. she had reached up on the counter for the bread and the cutting board it was on.

We need to get Avery, Caleb and Braden together for a Carrot Seed party. Sing songs around the piano (or cd player). I would be carrying around that bread too if it were at my house!
