ode to the missionaries

mom's gonna hate me for putting this picture on, but this is her in true form, smiling for avery to take her picture. they are finally heading home from Nauvoo and had plenty of stories to tell and pictures to show. i'm just glad they got off the freeway to come see us. ;) we talked dad into playing a game with us and i just think this pic really captures his inability to hide his emotions. just look how giddy he is about his hand...
Truman really liked 'em - he didn't have to take much time at all to get used to MORE grandparents.

we're glad they're home, and my kids have already packed their travel bags to go visit them at Thanksgiving.
