Sad day at Kamp Kikakee. . .

Max is really glum today. Yesterday he was jumping with our friends on their trampoline and. . . isn't that how all these stories start out? well, it's no different here."I just can't wait til I can walk again." -Max, (with very sad tones) but then he got a lot happier when I gave him the special treatment for lunch. (maybe his blood sugar was low. . . ;))
Poor little lamb has to stay off it for a whole week. we made a paper chain because he doesn't understand. Then they'll re-x-ray it and see if in fact it was a femur fracture and cast it up, or if he's okay to walk.

Oh the joys of motherhood, my 15 month old just broke her arm on Saturday. Hope he feels better soon.

Poor kid and poor mom! My little boy broke his arm a while back. These little guys break easily :). Hope Max feels better soon.

My little niece Jillian just broke her leg on a trampoline about a month ago. Once they got that cast on her, she was good to go! It went from her thigh to her ankle, but she could walk straight-legged. Poor Max, though! I hope he feels better really soon. And let me know if you need me to take your other two so you can play nurse. :)

Sounds like too many broken bones for one family. You can stop now. Tell Max to be brave! (It will be a long week)

Yuck! My dad would say "and this is why I never let you girls go on trampolines!" That was his one real paranoia. Hope he feels better soon!
