A's fam visits

we had a busy weekend with Adrie and her family -- they came on Friday and left Monday morning. These cousins sure love being together - this is before we walked out the door to church:

and they had a special tea party (thanks Grandma for sending special dishes to avery - she was thrilled almost to tears and promised not to every have tea parties on the tile with these. :)). . . of course, it ended in a special mopping-up party when they decided to use real water and BUCKETS, but we won't go into that.
and these boys are serious army-doggers. let's just say, we had to watch our step this weekend.

we all made it out to eat at PF Changs which was super fun, and Sunday Ry BBQed pizza for all:

we loved it when Caleb would read to the kids -- how convenient would it be to have one of those around my house? They also were all very interested in coloring in their new coloring books -- so that entertained them for hours.

Sunday evening we walked along the river trail , and man those kids out-number us so a lot of times I was counting heads.

I told them to sit on the blanket for a picnic (it was way too hot outside) and they lined up in a row. funny kids

Sat night our ward rented out a pool

everyone had just so much fun

until they had to clear the pool because of a little "accident". i don't think it was our kids... i hope

and now, the laundry's done, we all had naps yesterday and are recovered from all the fun times -- we are ready for more visitors. Thanks for coming A!
